Well since I haven't written my thoughts on a movie since forever...and since I'm bored and have nothing better to do than watch this movie...and also since my job is all about bad movies now, I decided to talk a little about this movie.

Well basically it's just a much-worse-less-funny-version of Bedazzled..though both could have been executed better. And while we're at it I thought Elizabeth Hurley was much more suitable for the role of Satan...I don't know she looks more devilish and subtle, Jennifer Love Hewitt's face is just too innocent.

Anyway, the dialogue is very poorly written, the acting is pretty bad..I mean the scene where the devil offers Jabez the deal was just BAD..no reactions..no excitement...everything just suddenly happened!

But then again I could not believe how bad ALL scenes were o.O I mean not one single good line or even a face expression! frankly, I could not believe Anthony Hopkins was in this movie..the excessive slow motion scenes, the way each scene faded away in a circle or a tiny square..it was just so dumb I couldn't believe people would pay to produce such crap..

Why did I even watch it? too bored I guess..I didn't even finish..oh well!

Grumpy RAIN

I'm just so sick of winter this year! I've never felt frustrated and depressed of it before, I've always adored rain, snow, clouds.., but this year I just want it to be over :( am I turning into a grumpy person? it's just that I hate driving in foggy weather, and I hate waking up in the morning and getting out from my warm bed, I'm always too lazy to take a shower...

I also hate that I have to warm up my car for some time before leaving, every time I wanna go somewhere I change my mind because it's too cold and it's not worth it..
I don't know maybe I'm just turning into one of those old grumpy employees who hate their jobs and who are frustrated from everything around them..

Or maybe I just miss the sunshine!

In the picture: the other day it was kinda warm and the poor almond tree was fooled and a tiny tender blossom was born, it was lovely, but didn't last long </3

I know I don't get to say anything yet, I've only been in my job for a couple of days, but the truth is I'm sad :(
I miss my old job, my friends there..the comfort I felt :(

I hate that my work is kinda stupid here..movies and celebrities and such nonsense, at least in my old job I translated management, business and self development courses..I know the situation was totally unfair there and that I had to move on, but it feels so weird now, and everyone seems to hate each other in this new job o.O I dunno why

I hope it gets better :(

My new job as a content editor starts officially on Wednesday inshallah, to be honest I'm more scared than excited, not that the job is scaring me but I have reasons to worry about the attitude of my colleagues to be.. because I had such wonderful colleagues at my first job and made friends with most of them, but somehow the atmosphere does not feel very welcoming at the new one :(

Anyway I guess I'll keep my limits and just do my work, and who knows I might start my training at Jordan Times soon as well.

يعني ما بيكفّي انا بنتحمّل الأعراس بموسم التزاوج(اللي هو الصيف) لأ كمان بالشتا

يمكن لأنو إلي زمان مش حاضرة عرس فانصدمت بكمية الابتذال اللي شفتها

من رقصة "السلو" اللي بيرقصوها العرسان وكلهم حب وغرام لتقطيع الكيكة اللي عمرو ما حدا رح يعرف شو هالكيكة ومن ايش مصنوعة

وأول ما يطلع العريس لازم نشوف اللحوم والدهون والرخويّات وهي بتهز..وعلى قولة رجائي قواس اذا سايزك اكس لارج ليش تلبسي ميديوم؟ ينعن أبو تباً أمك

أكتر اشي بكرهو اني بضطر أسلّم عناس ما بعرفهم، وأنا بطبيعتي عندي كره فطري للناس...ويا ريت سلام بالإيد وبس لأ لازم بوسات

واذا حاولت أبعد مشان أسلّم بالإيد بس بتلقّى الجحرات من كلّ ما هبّ ودبّ

من المشاهدات الغريبة اللي شفتها مبارح بنت زغنونة لزّوزة قاعدة بحضن أمها قدامي، خايفة ومتخبية ومتشبثة بحضن أمها بطريقة كتير كيوت، لأكتشف بعدين انها هاي مش أمها ولكن الشغالة...يعني لو تشوفو الطريقة اللي كانت حاضنيتها فيها وولا معبرة أمها، جد يا حرام

وعسيرة الأطفال أحلى اشي البنات اللي بيكونوا قد اجري ونازلين يهزّوا عالبست يا معلّم..أي والله وأنا قدهم كنت أنام من السبعة المسا وأتخبى ورا امي لما أشوف حدا غريب

بتشوفهم بيهزّوا عالوحدة ونص، ونصهم ملغمطيتهم أمهاتهم بالمكياج

يعني هدول أمهات المستقبل، متأكدة انو أكبر طموح الهم رح يكون انهم يلاقوا عريس

واحنا طالعين من الصالة بسمع بنت بتقول لأمها ماما الساعة 8 ونص راح علينا المسلسل، وبعدين قالت يلا مو مشكلة بحضر الاعادة عالوحدة الصبح

Yesterday I took an interview at Jordan Times, I took an exam there on Saturday and they called me to do the interview, but I did not expect what happened! they told me they did not want translators (bummerT_T) but they did want me to train for three weeks as a reporter, starting a career in journalism.. I was surprised and reluctant at first, but then I thought this is a new experience! and journalism could be such a glorious one...it could change me..

But then again I've always loved and dreamed of being a translator, it never even occurred to me that I would do something else..

I don't know I'm still thinking about this...it's good that I have time to think about it...inshallah 5air

PS I don't know why I can't comment on stuff!..so sorry guys I promise I will reply as soon as I can :(

I'm sorry but we are such drama queens.. we act as if the whole world is out there to get us, y3y the other day I was talking to some colleagues about the Christian minority in Jordan and some of them were like "They act as if they accept and respect us but they don't..they try to destroy Islam, they always try to hurt us" and I really thought that was pathetic cause I really don't think the world revolves around that issue..
Anyway some time ago people started talking about this new toy in the market that says "Hit Aisha" (the prophet's wife -peace be upon him-) .
The toy actually says "Go go go, pull over and take the hostages" .... and I have no more to add!

Easy and simple right? but it is hard to put what you feel in a formal concise definition in the dictionary, it is different to feel it than to say it..

For me serenity is when you're finally in peace with yourself...peace you haven't felt since you were a child in your mother's arms, it is the state of complete and utter conviction in something...in your destiny and where you are heading, to find out what truly matters in life and what you truly wish for..

To be so close to answering all the questions you had...because in reality they all have one simple answer

To be able to picture yourself old and happy...still as peaceful and warm as you always were..

To see what God meant with all of what happened in the past, and to have faith in what he is planning for tomorrow

To know you will never be alone again...even if it's dark, someone will always be there to hold your hand :)

Me Hate Job

I'm not happy with my job, there, I finally said it
I've been applying for other jobs for some time now and didn't find anything yet.

It's just way too boring, no challenges, no changes, and to top it all the atmosphere is waaaay too unprofessional, things are always messy and people blame each other, not trust and no positive feelings
I would say the only positive thing about it for me right now is that it has become my comfort zone..but who said I want that ?? I wanna move on, change, experience!
And now that they're asking us to do overtime (for nothing,and not even something related to my job as a translator) it is just the last straw for me...I'm really considering quitting..I hope I'll find another job soon because this is making me so frustrated :@

Driving In Jordan, Are You Mean Enough?

Yes yes I get have a say on driving too now since I'm experiencing it for real!
Well I've been driving for a weak by myself, and it's not much since I only drive between home an work, but since I work in one of the most crowded places in Amman, and live in one of the most dangerous places (traffic wise) I think I could say a thing or two...

Well, people are mean...they are so mean! god! I really did have faith in humanity until now! why are they like that? why don't they let you through? why can't they even let an old lady through?!!!! 0_O seriously I did not realize how much scumbags are out there till now :(

When I got my car I was like thank god! I will get red of cabs for good now! but little did I know..cabs were going to bug me still..you know how cab drivers act? they're like oh oh oh I'm not entirely shoving my car into the road, I'm just scaring you so you can slow down and let me through whether you like it or not...and by the way I will never ever let you through in return even though you're doing it right :)

But still cab drivers are not the worst(believe it or not!) the worst are those who speed and brag about it,they consider it a sign of manhood or whatever(losers!)...those reckless nutcases out there, I hate them and always pray the police will catch them and make them regret it..

One last thing...when men(or even girls sometimes) see that the driver is a girl they tend to first blame her for whatever happened anyway..and second scare her out of their way...talk about sexists..

And yes I already scratched my car once :( and hit the sidewalk a little bit :( but all in all I'm getting used to it, and I'm looking out for those cabs and those crazy drivers, w inshallah 5air :)

Quit bluntly..I have always HATED wedding photos,they are so cheesy and fake,so redundant and stupid..
Bride holding the flowers near her face..bride throwing a sharp look with her smudged eyes..groom wrapping brides waste with his arm..groom sitting with bride behind him..groom and bride looking at something beyond the camera(lol)..etc..
And every time people show me their wedding photos I'd pretend I like them,but the truth is they make me laugh
But this guy here changed that concept entirely for me!! he is brilliant,his photos are honest, genuine, real, sweet, full of love and happiness you can see and feel, his photos are outstanding mashallah,I so want him in my wedding lol
Thank you Mohammad Haqqi for making me love weddings and wedding photos again :)

Movie; ألف مبروك

I love Ahmad Helmy and his movies, but this movie really surprised me..in a good way, despite the fact that the story is not really original (based on the American movie Groundhog Day)

In short the story is about empathy, patience, looking at things from the other point of view, and giving others the chance to prove what they are all about..to give them the benefit of the doubt instead of judging them
And although he learned it the hard way, Ahmad learns to think about his family more and consider their' feelings.

Remember to love, to give before you take, otherwise your life will end up to be a broken record of failure and misery.

Good movie with such a sad ending

But I am...I am more than happy! and it was so simple and sudden that I literally can't believe it!!

I have to list 7 facts about myself,any 7 random facts,I wonder if there is anything left to say about me...but anyway!.. here we go
1. I like stepping on dead dry leaves in the fall,I like the sound they make when I crush them with my feet :)

2. I like looking at details,it's fun to watch the little wrinkles formed on peoples' foreheads when they're surprised,or when they're looking at some point somewhere when they're telling a story..it's weird but fun!

3. I'm messy..I guess I mentioned that before...but I'm really really messy,I don't understand the point of making your bed if you're gonna get back and sleep in it in a few hours!

4. I love owls,monkeys,whales,elephants and donkeys.

5. I just love putting on my headsets and turning up the volume to the max,especially if it's Ella singing ♥♥♥♥

6. I wanna go there someday :)

It is almost like a dream..

When you are in love everything seems to be heart shaped,pink,fluffy and sweet...you walk on rose petals and breathe summer breeze all the time...you can't sleep but you're happy with your fluffed eyes and your black circles,you can't stop dreaming...can't stop thinking,can't stop your heart from melting in warm chocolate and your stomach from bursting with a tornado of colorful butterflies
Problems seem insignificant and arguing seems pointless because you wanna forget about all of that and go back to your daydreams...

When you're in love,the mere thought of that certain person existing is enough to make each and every day of your week an endless prayer of thanking God for that...it is enough to make you feel better about yourself and simply smile when you should be frowning..

Everything...and I mean EVERY thing seems fun and easy...because somehow you feel it is a step further to bring you closer to that person...somehow!

When you are in love you're hot and cold...tired but strong...happy yet tearful...it is almost like fever except that you don't wanna heal...

My cousin's husband died today,just like that he dropped dead on a painfully ordinary Thursday afternoon.
He was 30 years old,he'd been married for almost 6 months now,and his wife is pregnant with a twin.

How did he wake up this morning? what was he thinking? did he have breakfast? did he fight with his wife? did he tell her he loved her?
Did he worry about the money? did he stop by for grocery? did he smile at a joke he heard?

What was his last thought...I mean his very last thought?

You can never see death coming,one minute your whole life is ahead of you and the next it's over...just like that
In a moment life seems more pathetic than a spit on the floor.

Sisters

My aunt's husband passed away a couple of months ago,and she's been through a very hard time lately,but al hamd l allah she's better now,and my mother and aunts are by her side,keeping her company and support..

Today my mom decided to go to her house and cook her something nice,just to make her feel better and spend the day there. I sat with my mom and two aunts and listened to them catching up,talking about the good old days..their childhood,their school days,their parents -may they rest in peace- and I was thinking that it is really beautiful to have someone to remember these things with,and that you only get to do that with a brother or a sister..

I might be different from my sisters,I never seem to fit in with them at any level,they always make fun of me for being different as they say...but it doesn't matter,because I know that what I have with them is bigger,and that I'll love them no matter how much I feel like an outsider and no matter how much they make fun of me,because I know that when I grow old and weak,and when I need someone by my side...they'll stop by and cook something nice for me.

I'm afraid of knowing just how much I am happy,because the more I know about it and feel it,the more my loss would be tremendous!
Who said anything about loss?no one,and I don't know how I got that thought into my head :( it's keeping me from living the day and enjoying what I have right now,because I'm too worried I'll lose it later,and no matter how much I try to resist that thought and enjoy the feeling I'm still too scared to truly embrace it..

Sometimes I think I'm in way over my head,but then I remember I took a chance..yup this is the new me...the one who takes the chance and jumps off bridges never knowing if there's solid ground below :P

I think for the first time in my life I feel like it's figured out..like I'm sure of everything..
I'm scared as hell but I won't give up this feeling..
Eid has been boring like usual
I'm so worried about getting back to my normal hours at work, god! they are so long :'( but en sha allah I'll manage..

I took my license about two weeks ago,that was one of the best feelings I ever had!!! I took it from the first time so that was awesome.

So these are just some of my thoughts and updates,I'm watching the great Syrian people right now and I'm praying for them,and just like Egypt and Libya I wish I was there with them:( ya rb koon m3hom,amen.

I sometimes wish I was blogging anonymously still,I wish I could feel about my blog..the same that I felt when I first started it...it was really my diary,and I didn't think twice before posting anything..

Now that most of my followers know me by name I can hardly be called anonymous,I have to do some thinking before writing what I wanna write...maybe some coding..some ambiguity would do the job...but no it's not the same
I'm not free to spell it out like I used to,my blog isn't the place for me to get better anymore,and it frustrates me the most that it feels fake...it has always been my honest space,but if I cannot write about what I truly feel and think of then what's the point?

I'm very Sheldon Cooper at it,I'm often unintentionally rude and inconsiderate to people when it comes to social courtesy,I don't know if I have to visit them,do I have to call? am I supposed to do something!?...and that's horrible I know,especially in a society like ours.

But,I found that those who truly love me do not need any proof to know I love them and always think of them...second I decided that not all people are worth it,so I don't have to be all worked up about calling them or paying them a visit,I simply don't feel like it,and if I'm practically forcing myself to do that for them then do I really like them or want them in my life? how come when I do these gestures for other people it's easy and comfortable?

After graduation ,and since I almost immediately found a job,it has become even more difficult and uneasy,but I'm sorry...I won't worry about it no more,I just think if we're friends enough and truly we wouldn't need to go through all of that trouble..

I know that's probably wrong,but I really don't care anymore,because once upon a time people did these things because they really cared about each other,now it's just fake.

Well,everything's good,I'm happy,I'm keeping up with everything,I'm hoping for the best :)

Work is a mini community,just like university..the only difference is that you don't get to choose the people you wanna hang out with,but I think I'm lucky,I find my co-workers nice and easy going..so far lol..

I'm translating and learning new things all the time and I love it despite the long hours,but I feel bad I'm neglecting so many of my hobbies and things I love to do,not to mention my friends...the whole week I was like "I'll do that in the weekend...I'll call her in the weekend,I'll write in my blog in the weekend" Well the weekend came..I wonder if I'll get anything done! but I guess this is how it is,and I feel this is good for me,I wanna take the best of work experience and change to the better en sha allah

First Day At Work Yay!...No Wait..Ouch!!

Yup,done with my first day at work .... this quickly!
It was fun! of course except for the part where we were locked out for half an our outside this morning!!
Translation is fun,and the people there all seem too nice to be true lol it's like I'm in Niceville or something!
I don't know why I thought there would be a bunch of other new people,there was only me and another guy,but I was glad I wasn't the only new one anyway :)

Oh and guess what,the team leader(a sweetheart) was talking about something when she said all of a sudden "Yeah my cousin came back from Khamees Mshait the other day" so I was like "is your cousin's name Alaa?' and she was like"How the heck did you know 0_O" and I said "Is her husband called Haitham Al-Sheeshany and their daughter Hiyam" and so yeah...I work with your wife's cousin Haitham! LOL what a friggin' small world sa77?

I was done and then I took a driving lesson (yes I'm training again!)
And now I literally cannot move me legs,I got used to sitting and doing nothing,I even got used to not wearing hijab so my ears are killing me too...

Guess I'll get some sleep now,wish me luck!

I don't know why,but I dream a lot..and by a lot I mean I have at least a couple of dreams when I'm napping for an hour in the middle of the day...and the thing is I remember ALL my dreams..very clearly and intensively,no clue why..

Anyway,I noticed a while ago that some dreams and nightmares of mine repeat themselves every once in a while..especially nightmares..in fact I noticed that I have two main nightmares that always repeat themselves

One of them is the one I had last night,and woke up very happy that it was not real..I dreamed that I was out in the night..I was lost and I did not know how to go home..all I was thinking was how to get home to my family,I was so worried and sad that they might be mad at me..

I was thinking that that is basically my biggest fear..to let my mom and dad down..or to lose them,that's why I keep having that horrible nightmare..

It is strange when you think about your dreams,even if they're weird...some times they make a LOT of sense.

Well first I'd like to say sorry for not being around for the last week or so,it's not just writer's block but different things are all happening at once and I'm trying to keep up..
Second my friend Toto promised an article about our topic this month المعاكسات

Third which is what I wanna talk about well...
The other day I was a t a wedding,it was very normal...the usual boring type with cake cutting and slow dancing and casual gossip..
But I was watching the bride and groom dancing when a thought suddenly struck me..what a stupid thing to do!! how would I feel if I was supposed to dance and do this stuff while people are watching...I mean most of them are people I wouldn't even know!
It is so lame that I suddenly got embarrassed for the sake of the bride!
The original purpose of a wedding used to be simply letting people know that you are getting married to this person,but now it's just a routine...a stupid pathetic imitation of what used to be innocent,simple and elegant..
People no longer do things because of a certain good purposes..they do them because they're supposed to,which is something else I wanna talk about later..

That's not the only thing that bothers me at weddings,bu that was yet a new discovery!..

I promised myself not to be negative on my blog...but I have to write about this to remind myself of some things in the future..

Sometimes you wonder how certain people ended up being part of your life,I mean regardless of the extreme shallowness,the incredibly low IQ level,the huge ego and chronic self centered syndrome...regardless of all of that...I just cannot stand the lack of manners,the extreme audacity,the unbelievable faith and trust of the fact that the human race was created to serve you and keep you comfortable,I just cannot take that..

God I'm so mad and I don't know why,but I'm glad I finally took the step to get rid of this forever,I'm relieved!

I was talking to a friend about this yesterday about whether people can be imposed on you or not,if you HAVE to be with them or you can simply dispose of them,and I realize now I don't have to tolerate with this,I can simply dispose of anything unuseful and unpleasant in my life,I'm still in charge of my relationships and I can choose what I wanna deal with and what I don't. and I don't wanna deal with this anymore

Things I'll Miss At JU ; Final Part

Yesterday my graduation ceremonies were held at JU,it was a perfect day,so much fun..I'm so glad I went :)
I got there a little bit early,it took me no time to get my number,the weather was nice and cool,I took more photos than I imagine I'd take at my wedding!!
And yes the heels tortured me,my feet reached the point of complete numbness at let's say 5...my toes were not there anymore!
We sang,we danced,we took pictures and we had fun waiting..
And as we were coming out to get lined up on the chairs I saw my family and friends yay :D
Of course we had to sit there waiting because medicine students were graduating just before us...talk about feeling like crap when you graduate with medicine students!! -_-'
Anyway,our turn came...and at the moment the called my name and I walked to get my certificate I forgot my swelling feet,my messed up make up and my spinning head,it was a perfect moment with the university's anthem rumbling,I was so happy,I was even proud!
We were done then,and headed out of the stadium,I was a mess!

I saw my friends and took even more pictures,and my family got me flowers <3

I went to buy coffee with Toto from Adel for the last time
I love you Toto,we're gonna be even more wild at your ceremonies! XP

I'm so glad I did this,it was the right decision to go,it was an unforgettable day :)
and thanks to all my friends here who supported me and encouraged me to go,I have no toes now(lamma kan 3andy nazar!) but IT WAS WORTH IT :)

I'm guessing this is probably my last post about JU...I'll miss this day,I'll miss the "student me",I'll miss the "foolish young me with no responsibilities"(not like I'm such a grown up now lol)...but I guess it's different!

I'll miss you JU,and I'll always love you!
and finally I would like to deeply apologize to my feet..I'm sorry guys,I'll never put you through that again...not even on my wedding day!

Today at 6:30 I'll be at my graduation ceremony..
To be honest top things that come to my mind when I remember are:
1-I'm very worried they'll keep us standing in the sun waiting God knows what for..
2-I'm also worried about all that time I'll be standing or walking in heels,did I ever mention how much they hurt?:(
3-Frankly..I have a feeling that this is all just so silly and pointless,and it's not like I suddenly felt that,I thought so from the beginning and didn't even wanna go,but I'm afraid I'll regret not going,and I've nothing to lose if I do,so what the heck?
4-I'm worried about leaving the maid alone at home,whether to take my little sister or not,what time should I be there to take my number,will the tickets be enough?will my friends get in without tickets? and I'm wondering if it's worth it!

You know what,I'm just gonna try to forget all of that and enjoy the day(not the heels part though!) I mean what's the worst that could happen?
Guess I should iron my white shirt!
That'll be it,adiós!

Limitless;What A Human Brain Can Do!

One of the things that interest me and confuse me at the same time the most is the human brain,how much we know about everything with it...and how little we know about it itself! isn't the most interesting thought that the thing that enables you to know everything about everything is UNKNOWN to you!!

Anyway,they say a regular person uses only 10% or less of his true brain capability,so imagine what happens if you use let's say 30....40 or 50,or better yet,imagine if one little pill can take you beyond that and give you a limitless access to it,everything you've ever read or even just saw by chance...everything you've ever learned...all your knowledge through the years is right there in your hands...you're ultimately capable of using it! what if you find a way to be a better YOU? the interesting thing is that this drug does not add anything to you...it just lets out things you already know but did not know you knew,or abilities and talents you didn't know you had..maybe that is the key to success,you need to know that it's there in you,you just have to bring it out...

Another aspect of the movie is drug addiction,when Eddie reaches the point of no return he is desperate enough to drink a dead man's blood! drugs tend to make you feel you cannot live without them,but in my opinion Eddie never realized the fact that this drug is not really adding anything to the person he is. Like other drugs that make you feel invisible but the truth is it is all already in you...and it depends on you to feel good enough about yourself.

Anyway,that was a fun movie to watch,although I would have liked it better with a different ending,if you're feeling like a good funny thriller,then this is the one for you.

At A Funeral

It was my first time ever to a funeral the other day,I never even went to my grandpa's!..
Anyway,it was absolutely dreadful,women were just sitting there chatting,I know they probably don't know the man but I believe it is a place dedicated to honor and respect the human who passed away,so no matter how little you know him you must pay some respect to his memory,and to his family's sadness and pain.

Another thing that really hit on my nerves is the women who kept yelling that the man's family must not cry! how could you ask a person watching their father being buried not to cry!!! how can you ask his daughters not to grieve! I thought that was really horrible and extremely inconsiderate..

It is strange how we deal with death,we're extremely contradictory about it,we mourn too much or care too little,and either way we don't understand it...

One more thing,if I'm ever in his daughter's shoes -God forbid! - I'd never want to see or talk to anyone,I'd never find consolation in anything anyone has to say...I don't really understand the concept of a funeral...of so many people coming to make your life harder when it couldn't get worse...I cannot comprehend why people insist on coming,sitting,staying...and staying and staying there for so long!..

Anyway those were my thoughts about it..

Last night we had a total moon eclipse,it was beautiful,I took some shots of it while it was being covered by the earth's shadow but I was too tired and didn't catch it coming out,enough chit chat,here:

Problems were my stupid shaky hands that ruined like 70% of the photos :(
And I could not find options that would catch both dark and bright sides of the moon,so you can only see one of them in a photo,but all in all I think I did a good job v_v

عشرة أسباب لتقول لا لتقطيع الأشجار في برقش

القانون يقول “لا”
إنشاء الكلية العسكرية بموجب تفويض من مجلس الوزراء للكلية أو للقيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة بصفتها المالك للكلية لا يستوفي الشروط القانونية لتعارضها الصريح مع نص القانون وفيه اساءة إستعمال السلطة. نحن في دولة من المفترض أنها دولة تحترم سيادة القانون. والقانون يقول “لا”.
وأنت يجب أن تقول “لا” حتى يكون للقانون سيادة في الأردن وحتى لا نسمح للحكومة بالتلاعب بالقوانيين والإلتفاف حولها وإساءة إستعمال السلطة.

في عجلون يقولون “لا”
وجهت العديد من الجهات المهتمة بالشؤون البيئية في منطقة عجلون رسالة إلى عدد من الدوائر الرسمية، من أبرزها الديوان الملكي ورئاسة الوزراء، طالبت فيها المسؤولين التراجع عن قرارهم القاضي بإقامة كلية عسكرية في منطقة برقش الواقعة بعجلون. يوجد في عجلون أكثر من 20 منطقة غير حرجية (خالية من الأشجار) من الممكن إستغلالها لبناء الكلية. فالماذا هذا الإصرار والتعنت الحكومي لبناء الكلية عند المناطق الحرجية؟
لنقف سوياً مع أهل عجلون في مطالبهم المشروعة لإقامة الكلية في منطقة غير حرجية من عجلون. هذه الثروة من الغابات والأشجار الحرجية هي ثروة وطنية ويجب أن تبقى للأجيال القادمة.

طمس إرادة الشعب على مراحل
قامت الحكومة وبشكل سريع (على غير عادتها) بإعادة النظر في مخططات مشروع الكلية العسكرية بعد المعارضة الشعبية والمنظمات والمجموعات التي تعنى بحماية البيئة، وأفادت أنها سوف تقطع 300 شجرة بدلاً من 2300 شجرة. ولكن في نظرنا لا يوجد أيه ضمانات مستقبلية بأن المشروع لن يمتد لقطع أشجار أكثر خاصة وأن المشروع هو مشروع عسكري، حيث ستكون المنطقة مغلقة أمام عامة الناس ولن نعرف ما يحدث داخل منطقة الكلية. هذا الإلتفاف الحكومي أمام المطالب الشعبية يُفهم على أنه “لعبة طمس الإرادة الشعبية على المراحل”. فاليوم يفاوضون على 300 شجرة وغداً 300 شجرة أخرى وهكذا حتى تفعل الحكومة ما تريد.
إذاً علينا أن ندرك أن مبادرة الحكومة في تغيير مخططات مشروع الكلية ما هو إلا قطع 2300 شجرة على مراحل. ضمانتنا الوحيدة هي تغيير موقع الكلية إلى أراض غير حرجية في عجلون. وهناك أكثر من 20 منطقة مقترحة هي مناطق غير حرجية.

المشروع عسكري وليس تنموي
الحكومة تقول أن المشروع سوف يجلب حركة إقتصادية في عجلون ويوظف العاطلين عن العمل من أهالي عجلون وهو بذلك مشروع تنموي. هذه الحجة ليست في محلها. فالمشروع هو لإقامة كلية عسكرية وهو على الأغلب سوف يغلق المنطقة أمام أهالي عجلون من المدنيين ويستعين بالخدمات والسلع من خارج المنطقة. المشاريع التنموية تقوم على الإنتاج وتنمية القوى البشرية، وإذا كانت الحكومة جدية في تنمية عجلون فإن هناك العديد من المشاريع الأخرى التي ستكون أفضل لأهالي عجلون، مثل المشاريع السياحية والتعليمية والصحية والتجارية وتطوير الصناعات المحلية.
نريد أن تُوظف أموال الدولة في تنمية المجتمعات المحلية وتطويرها. مشروع الكلية العسكرية لا يلبي إحتياجات منطقة عجلون ولا يستغل قدرات عجلون البشرية والصناعات المحلية والثروة الطبيعية والبيئية والسياحية ويبني عليها.

خطر إنقراض نباتات وحيوانات
يعتبر التنوع النباتي والحيواني في المنطقة غنياً، حيث تصل كثافة الغطاء النباتي الى 90% وعدد الانواع في غابات برقش يزيد على 100 نوع نباتيا منها 13% نوعا نادرا و4% نوعا مهددا و13% ذات اهمية طبية. هذا اضافة الى وجود العديد من الانواع الحيوانية كالثدييات والطيور المقيمة والمهاجرة. وتعد بعض الانواع النباتية والحيوانية الموجودة في المنطقة مهددة اما على المستوى الوطني او على المستوى العالمي وبالتالي بحاجة الى حماية دائمة.
إن التراث البيئي الموجود في الأردن هو ملك للطبيعة وحماية هذا التنوع النباتي والحيواني ومنع إنقراضها هو واجب علينا أمام أنفسنا والبشرية والعالم. هذا ما يفصلنا من كوننا مجتمع متحضر يفهم ويقدر ما يملك في بيئته ومجتمع متخلف وغير متحضر لا يفهم ما حول بيئته ولا يجعل للعلم كلمة.

أقل من 1٪ من الأردن غابات
أقل من 1٪ من مساحة الأردن هو غابات والباقي هو أراضي غير حرجية. هذا يعني أن شجرة واحدة أثمن من أن تقطع لأجل مشروع بشري. يجب أن ندرك أن قطع شجرة واحدة يؤثر على التربة والهواء والماء من حولها وآلآف من الكائنات الحية التي تعيش حول نظامها الحيوي. إذاً لماذا لا نبني ونعمر في الأراضي الجرداء؟ لماذا نريد أن نقتل الحياة البيئية الغنية عندما لا نحتاج أن تقتلها؟
المنطق والعلم يحتم علينا أن نقول “لا”. هناك خيارات عديدة لإنشاء الكلية. التعنت والإصرار الحكومي غير منطقي وغير علمي. نحن نعطي الخيارات ونتكلم بالمنطق والعلم.

كل شجرة من النظام الحيوي
النظام الحيوي الذي تبنيه الطبيعة يأخذ مئات السنيين ليكتمل. هناك أشجار معمرة في برقش يبلغ عمرها 500 سنة. كل شجرة هي جزء من النظام الحيوي. إن ما يتردد على لسان الحكومة من أنها سوف تعيد زراعة هذه الأشجار في مناطق أخرى أو أن تعوض ما يقطع بزراعة أشجار أخرى ليس حلاً للمشكلة. فالنظام الحيوي سوف يتأثر من إزالة أية شجرة منه. الأنسان لديه عشرين إصبع، ولو قطع جزء من إصبع واحد فإن كل جسدك سوف يتأثر وطبيعة وظائف الحركة سوف تتأثر لديك. والنظام الحيوي البيئي يتأثر بنفس الطريقة عندما نقطع شجرة واحدة.
كما أن إعادة زراعة الأشجار غالباً ما تفشل خاصة مع الأشجار الكبيرة والمعمرة. لدى الأردن خبرة فشل في ذلك عندما أقتلعت الأشجار في دبيين لمشروع سياحي عند المناطق الحرجية وأرادت الحكومة إعادة زراعة هذه الأشجار. كما وأن زراعة أشجار جديدة بدلاً من الأشجار التي يتم قطعها لا يأخذ بعين الإعتبار المدة الزمنية التي نحتاج تعويضها وهي عشرات ومئات السنيين.
نحتاج أن نفكر بالأمد الطويل لأفعالنا وبحكمة ورؤية مستقبلية. لدينا مسؤولية أمام الأجيال القادمة ونريد أن نورث لهم إرثاً يفتخرون به، وليس إرثاً عبثي وعشوائي لا تخطيط فيه ولا دراسة علمية له، لا يستطيعون البناء عليه. الإمم المتحضرة تخطط وتدرس مستقبلها.

الشجرة جزء من هويتنا
الشجرة جزء من هويتنا. قصصنا ورواياتنا فيها الأشجار، وفي حديثنا نتكلم عن الشجرة على أنها مباركة، وفي مجالسنا نستظل بالشجرة، وفي أدياننا نحث على الحفاظ على الشجرة. وفي الشجرة رمزٌ لصمودنا أمام جرافة العدو، وكم منا استشهد من أجل الشجرة. الشجرة هي جزء من هويتنا. لماذا ننبهر عندما نرى اليابانيين يحتفلون بعيد الساكورا (الزهور البيضاء لشجرة الكرز) ثم لا نفتخر بأن الشجرة جزء من هويتنا؟ لماذا لا ندافع عما تبقى من هويتنا؟ لماذا لا نحتفل بهويتنا؟ الشجرة تسئل.
فما هو جوابك؟

السجل الحكومي غير مشرف
الفساد الحكومي لا يبعث فينا الثقة بالجهاز الحكومي ولا الوعود التي تقدمها الحكومة للشعب. في 2009 أعلنت الحكومة أن عجلون منطقة تنموية خاصة وأنها سوف تقيم 24 مشروعاً سياحياً. لا نرى كيف يكون إنشاء كلية عسكرية على أراضٍ حرجية مشروعاً تنموياً. لماذا لا نطور على السياحة البيئية التي أصبحت تستقطب نصف مليون شخص كل سنة إلى المحميات البيئية في الأردن؟ وأين 24 مشروع سياحي في عجلون؟
لماذا يُطلب منك أن تثق بالحكومة وقراراتها خاصة وأن سجلها غير مشرف في هذا المضمار؟ لو كانت الحكومة جدية في وعودها لكانت تقوم اليوم بما وعدته سابقاً. فالوعود جميلة ولكن التنفيذ والأفعال ما زالت غير مشرفة.

صوتنا. الضريبة مدفوعة عليه.
نحن من ندفع الضرائب. الشعب الأردني بكامله. الكلية ليست مكرمة ولا منّه. إنها من المال العام. وبرقش ليست ملكاً خاصاً لأحد، إنها للأردنيين من جميع أنحاء الأردن وليست لعجلون فقط. ومن هنا، فصوت الأردنيين صوت يجب على الحكومة أن تستمع إليه. الأردنيون لهم الكلمة في كيفية صرف أموال الدولة، وما هي الأولويات، وما هي الطريقة الأنسب في تنفيذ هذه الأولويات. أهل عجلون بأشد الحاجة إلى المشاريع التنموية وقد طال الإنتظار، ولكن الكلية العسكرية ليست الأجابة الصحيحة لتنمية عجلون. عجلون تحتاج إلى مشاريع تنمية حقيقية وواضحة الأثر والمضمون. أهل عجلون يستحقون أكثر بكثير من قطع أشجارنا المعمرة في مناطق حرجية لإقامة كلية عسكرية مغلقة أمام عامة الناس.
في 2010، شكلت ضريبة المبيعات أكثر من 41٪ من إيرادات/دخل الحكومة بواقع 1966 مليون دينار (2.8 بليون دولار أمريكي). وهذا فقط من ضريبة المبيعات. ومع جميع الضرائب الأخرى كضريبة الدخل والرسوم الحكومية الأخرى فإنك تساهم في أكثر من 66٪ من إيرادات الحكومة (4.48 بليون دولار أمريكي)، يعني أكثر من 9 مرات المساعدات الخارجية للأردن في عام 2010. إذاً، قوي صوتك وما تخاف. الضريبة مدفوعة.

المادة 28 – أ “لا يجوز تفويض الاراضي الحرجية الى أي شخص او جهة او تخصيصها او بيعها او مبادلتها مهما كانت الاسباب”
المادة 28 – ب “لا يجوز إدخال الأراضي الحرجية في حدود البلديات إلا بموافقة من الوزير، كما لا يجوز تقسيم الأراضي الحرجية داخل حدود التنظيم او تغيير صفة استعمالها”
المادة 35 – ب “يحظر قطع اي من الاشجار الحرجية المعمرة او النادرة والنباتات البرية المهددة بالانقراض او اتلافها او الاعتداء عليها بأي شكل من الاشكال”
